fortune cookies
I've opened two fortune cookies in the last couple weeks. At some point early in the interview process, I got this one:
PEOPLE FIND IT DIFFICULT TO RESIST YOUR PERSUASIVE MANNER.
Now, while I'm waiting on pins and needles to hear back, I get this:
A TEMPTING PROPOSAL WILL SOON PRESENT ITSELF TO YOU.
Whoever's got the sense of humor, quit it already.

basically: "we love you, but the position you interviewed for might not exist any more"
